A request for PCBA mobile phone debug/repair technicians.
Requirement
· PCBA debug/repair technicians (must have experience on mobile phone technology)
· Temporary assignment up to 3 months. (an estimation)
· Future full time employment maybe possible (based on performance)
A brief job description:
· Diagnostics of failures on PCBAs, using VIR multi-meters & oscilloscopes (Escort 98 & Tektronix), analyzers, Universal Radio Communication Testers (CMU200 / Rohde & Schwarz) measuring GPRS, EDGE, GSM or Bluetooth.
· Using electrical schematics provided to diagnose down to the route cause failure of the PCBA.
· After the route cause is identified, execute SMD repair on PCBA.
· Perform manual testing on the PCBA after SMD repair. Following customer test scripts.
· Reporting all repair results into our shop floor control (unit tracking) system.
· Maintaining a high standard with regards to quality (IPC 610 D and 7711)
· Working rotating shifts, Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm. (Saturday overtime is optional)
Candidate background:
· Must have diagnostics experience on PCBAs, using BOMs, electrical schematics and measuring equipment mentioned above.
· Competent with the repair of fine pitch SMD components / including Micro BGA components (Micro BGA repair experience is preferred but not essential)
· Electronics education, with an understanding of low voltage circuits.
· Basic understanding of English is preferred i.e. ‘technical’ English.
· PC knowledge at a user level.
